Prof.Tom Olali stresses that student must modestly dress whenener they visit Swahili communities

A CLK 404 student Mary Mukami Wanjiru dressed as a Swahili woman during the Field Work trip at the coast recently. This dressing is part of a particular interpretation of hijab (modesty). Other Swahili women attire include kangas, abayah(buibui), dera, thobo, jalbib and niqab.
